Aquaset covers the whole surface; Fibrous Aquaset goes where water finds its way in first: cracks, joints and corners. Used together, they make one continuous waterproof layer.

Where can you use it?

On roofs and floors, protect it afterwards with screed, tiles or a similar layer.

A tiled swimming pool with its steps and lane ropes
  • Flat and sloped roofs
  • Terraces and balconies
  • Pools and water tanks
  • Gutters, eaves and chimneys
  • Foundations and basement walls
  • Concrete, plaster and brick
  • Galvanised metal and wood

How to apply it

  1. 1

    Clean

Dry, clean and free of grease and loose material, with at least a 5% slope so water can't pond.

  2. 2

    Repair

Fill holes and gaps with Stako repair mortar.

  3. 3

    Prime

One coat of Aquaset thinned 1:1 with water. Run Fibrous Aquaset in strips along the joints.

  4. 4

    Two crossed coats

Two undiluted coats, 24 hours apart, the second at 90° to the first. Work between +5°C and +35°C.

  5. 5

    Protect

Keep it from rain and frost for 48 hours, then cover with screed or tiles.
